Lahore mein Land Cruiser 2LT Turbo repair kahan se karwayain?

Anyone here knows a reliable workshop in Lahore for Land Cruiser 2LT Turbo repair? My gaari ka turbo issue ho raha hai, and I am really stuck finding a place jo reliable ho.

Kuch friends ne Turbo Internacional Services mention kiya tha, but I am not sure if they handle 2LT Turbos specifically. The last time I went to a random, unverified workshop, it ended up causing more damage...

So that kind of mistake I want to avoid this time. I am looking for a place jahan technicians are experienced and know what they are doing with these engines.

Koi Lahore se suggestion ya experience share kar sakta hai? Pichli dafa ka experience was a nightmare kyun kay na sirf repair theek se nahi hui, but they also overcharged for unnecessary parts.

Ab thora cautious hoon about randomly picking a shop. I have heard about Turbo Motors Wheel Alignment Balancing through some online discussions. They seem okay but do they really do a thorough job on turbos, especially for Land Cruisers?

And kya unki after-service bhi theek hai? I know Pakistani market mein baat sun'na zaroori hota hai, kafi workshops bas dikhave ke hain. I came across Turbo Internacional Services Lahore Pakistan as well; they have good reviews, but firsthand opinions really matter.

So any help you could give would be awesome. Mujhe toh bas yeh chahiye ke gaari phir se smooth ho jaye aur koi new masla na ho repair ke baad. Suggestions? thanks in advance, guys. Always looking for trusted recommendations.

Turbo Motors Wheel Alignment Balancing is like the fancy restaurant of turbo repairs in Lahore, sounds impressive, but ask around if they actually fix your turbo or just serve you a bill.

i have taken my Land Cruiser turbo to Shahzad turbo repairing workshop before, and honestly the results were not great. they fixed it temporarily but the same problem came back after a few weeks.

Have you checked if the turbo issue is just a sensor or vacuum line problem before going for a full rebuild? Sometimes the symptoms look worse than the actual repair needed.

@Fiza Batool Temporary fixes are actually pretty common with some workshops that do not invest in proper diagnostics or genuine parts. Shahzad turbo repairing workshop might take the quick route to close the job but not always give a lasting solution.

I remember a customer who went there and he had to go back twice within two months. The cost and downtime added up way more than expected.

Also, a lot of workshops do not check the whole turbo system for hidden damage like cracks or oil leaks, which makes the problem come back.

If the repair was genuinely done well, the issue would not return so fast, especially for a 2LT Land Cruiser turbo. maybe look for shops like Turbo Internacional Services Lahore Pakistan or Naveed Turbocharger and Repairing Works who are more specialized in proper diagnosis before repair.

it might cost a bit more but save headaches later. If the turbo has wear in internal components, a patch job will fail. A full checkup for shaft play, seals, and compressor wheel is essential before they say it is fixed. I would avoid going back to Shahzad again if the problem recurred so soon.

Naveed Turbocharger is solid, but if you want the turbo fixed right, better check if they use genuine parts, otherwise, your Land Cruiser might act like it’s just flirting with power, not

@Sana Mir It is true that many workshops do rush repairs without proper diagnostics, which causes the problem to come back sooner than expected. one thing I have noticed is that a lot of garages do not run a full system check on related parts like intercooler pipes, wastegate valves, or boost sensors.

Even if the turbo itself seems fine, a leak or sensor fault in these areas can make it feel like the turbo is faulty again.

This is why I think shops that do full system diagnostics, like The Auto Garage TAG, tend to have better success with lasting turbo repairs.

Also, asking them to show the worn parts before replacing or repairing gives some assurance that work is actually done properly and not just a patch job.

Otherwise, you might pay for parts that were not really needed. This transparency is not common in all Lahore workshops but definitely adds value.

@Sana Mir That rush to-finish approach without proper diagnostics really messes things up. I once had my Land Cruiser’s 2LT turbo “fixed” at a workshop that just replaced the cheap seals without checking internal shaft play or compressor condition.

At first, the boost seemed fine but then it started leaking oil internally again after a few hundred kilometers. Later I took it to Carigar Restomods (Auto Workshop and Car garage) to get a thorough teardown and rebuild.

They actually measured the shaft clearance, balanced the turbine wheel, and replaced worn bearings with genuine parts. That stopped the recurring boost loss and noise issues totally.

Honestly, for a turbo repair it is not just about swapping a part, it needs careful inspection and real skilled hands. No shortcuts if apka turbo properly chahiye operational for the long term. I would avoid any place that does slapdash fixes just to close the job fast.

@Vikram Singh You are right about genuine parts being the key. one thing I have noticed is that some shops will replace just the visible seals or cheap parts to save cost, but the turbo’s core like shaft and compressor wheel still has wear that keeps causing issues.

If you go to a place like HTL Express Garden Town, they tend to do a more thorough inspection and actually measure shaft play and balancing before recommending parts.

That way, you avoid those "flirting with power" feelings where the turbo never really performs fully after repair. Also, ask clearly if the replaced parts are original or aftermarket because cheap parts can cause early failure or poor response. It is worth paying a bit extra for proper rebuild instead of patch jobs that come back in a few weeks.

If the turbo is giving trouble, do not rush into a full rebuild without proper diagnostics first. Sometimes the issue could be a stuck wastegate or a leaking vacuum line, which can cost much less to fix.

@Anum Tariq How did you find the turnaround time at Carigar Restomods for such detailed work? I ask kyun kay main soch rahi thi ke usually workshops jaldi finish karna pasand kartay hain aur itni thorough checking mein time lag jata hai.

Also, did they give you koi estimate before starting the full teardown and balancing? It would be interesting to know if they are upfront about costs jab itna detailed inspection hota hai kyun kay zyada workshops ek dafa open kar ke phir baaki cheezen charge kar letay hain without clear explanation.

i have heard Pakistan Turbo Services also do proper shaft play check and balancing, anyone here tried them for 2LT Land Cruiser turbos? curious if they match the kind of detailed work Carigar offers.

@Aiden Ramirez Ye baat bilkul sahi hai ke sirf visible seals replace karne se koi long term solution nahi milta. Jo ek angle mai add karna chahta hoon wo ye hai ke kabhi kabhi turbo ki machining ya balancing properly nahi hoti, jo future mein vibrations aur bad bearings ka masla ban jata hai.

main personally Auto Levels, Best Car workshop in Lahore se repair karwa chuka hoon, aur wahan ye cheez kaafi seriously li jati hai. Wo log shaft play check karne ke saath compressor wheel ko balance bhi karte hain, jo aapke turbo ki life bada deta hai.

Agar ye basic balancing na ho to replacement parts bhi jaldi kharab ho jate hain, aur aapko dobara repair karwana padta hai. Is liye genuine parts ke saath sahi tareeke se assembly aur balancing bhi equally important hai, warna half fix repair lagta hai.

Aur ek cheez ye bhi hoti hai ke kuch cheap parts turbo ki fatigue ko aur tez kar dete hain, jese ke bearing quality ya seals jo thik seal nahi banate. Is liye repair karwate waqt apko ye clarify karna chahiye ke asli ya OEM parts use hon, warna masla solve nahi hoga.

@Aiden Ramirez Going just for the visible seals is honestly a shortcut that catches most people. I have seen it many times where after a quick seal change, the turbo starts acting up again because the shaft or bearings were worn out.

What I learned recently is that shops like Naveed Turbocharger and Repairing Works actually take the time to inspect the shaft play and measure the compressor wheel condition before suggesting parts.

That kind of thoroughness makes a big difference in the long run. It also helps if the workshop can show you the worn parts they removed, so you are sure they are not just charging for unnecessary replacements.

Transparency like this usually means better quality work. So even if genuine parts are the key, the repair process itself needs to be detailed, otherwise, you are just masking the problem with quick fixes. i would rather pay a bit more and get that full check.

@Imogen Fisher Yeh zaroori nahin ke har workshop shaft aur bearings skip karti hai kayi dafa asal masla sirf seals ya external leakage ka hota hai.

Agar pehle yeh thik ho jata toh aapka waqt aur paisa dono bach jata haan, kabhi kabhi deeper checks karna zaroori hota hai, lekin sirf seriously jab zaroorat ho.

Maine dekha hai log bearings aur shafts pe tab paisa kharch kar dete hain jab asal problem sirf seals ka hi tha. agar pehle thora simple steps lehen aur dekhen ke agar cheezain solve hoti hain ya nahi.

Bohat saray mekanics ke paas shaft play accurately measure karne ka setup nahi hota. Is liye shakes tareeke se seals ko replace karke pehle yeh dekhna wise step bhi ho sakta hai mujhe lagta hai turbo maslay mein The Auto Garage TAG staged approach pe jaata hai: pehle seals badlo, phir agar masla solve ho jaye to thik hai aur agar nahi to phir shaft tak jao. Time aur fuss dono hi bach jata hai.

@Emily Carter I have seen many cases where workshops quickly jump to changing seals thinking it will solve everything, but that actually wastes more time and money in the long run.

Just replacing seals without checking shaft play or wheel balance can lead to repeated breakdowns. Sometimes the external leakage might clear temporarily, but if shaft play or bearing wear is ignored, the turbo will start making noise or lose power soon after.

those quick seal fixes are like putting a bandage on a deeper problem. In Lahore, places like Pakistan Turbo Services or Carigar Restomods are known to do a proper teardown first and share what exactly needs fixing.

They take time to measure shaft clearance instead of just assuming seals are the issue. That way you avoid unnecessary repairs and keep costs in check.

If your mechanic does not test shaft play or balancing, then just fixing seals is almost always a half measure, especially for older Land Cruiser turbos.

It is worth insisting on a detailed inspection before any part swapping. You can also check their process on PakWheels forums where some owners share their experience with these places.

@Imogen Fisher not always true that changing just seals is a waste or shortcut. Sometimes especially for turbos that have stiff external leaks, replacing seals can fix the problem right away, without wasting time digging deeper that is not needed.

Of course shaft play or balance should be checked if the turbo is old or noisy. But in cases where turbo looks fine normally and gaari chalate waqt koi weird vibration ya power loss nahi ho raha, seal replacement is often a quick effective fix.

i have seen workshops like Carigar Restomods ask for seal replacement first, paise bhi kam lagtay hain, and jab baad mein agar same masla aata hai, tab hi they recommend full shaft and-bearing inspection.

If mechanic starts with full teardown har baar, that can unnecessarily hike repair bills when the initial problem is just a bad seal or leak.

thora smart or cost effective approach lagti hai. That is why a staged approach works best, first simple least cost fix then small repairs if problem persists.

else ap ek hi masla mein full rebuild kay paise kharraab kar bethtay ho jab zarurat nahi hoti. some local owners discuss issues like these on PakWheels, might be worth browsing the threads there too.

@Emily Carter That is exactly why some workshops like PakWheels Service Center Model Town have started recommending a step by-step approach. They first focus on cheaper fixes like seals or external leaks and only move to deeper checks if those do not work.

This saves customers from unnecessary bills because not every turbo needs a full shaft or bearing overhaul. I also noticed they do a quick test run after the initial fix to see if any vibrations or sounds remain before opening everything up.

It really makes sense to avoid wasting time and money on heavy repairs if it can be avoided. Plus, this approach helps customers trust the workshop more since they see repairs done only when necessary. It is something more local garages should consider doing as standard practice.

I have seen many Land Cruiser 2LT owners waste money by going to shops that replace only the obvious seals without checking turbo shaft play properly.

Turbo repair ke liye main ne Carigar Restomods ko try kiya tha Garden Town mein, wahan pe kaam thora mehnga tha magar genuine parts aur achi workmanship mili.

@Connor Murphy [ Murphy] Shukriya aapki advice ke liye, isay yaad rakhunga. Mujhe ye samajhna tha ke jab turbo ki machining ya balancing hoti hai, to kis tarah pata chalta hai ke woh sahi hua ya nahi?

Kya ye workshops hamesha koi test proof dikhate hain ya bas unki baat pe yakin karna parta hai? Aur gaari chalate waqt kabhi kabar thori whistle sound aati hai, jab accelerate karta hoon, kya ye shaft balance ka masla hoga jo apne bataya, ya sirf seals ki wajah se hota hai?
