I reckon my PC is not running as smoothly as it should, and I am trying to figure out what could be causing the slowdown. Has anyone got tips on how to identify a bottleneck?
It is a bit frustrating... I have upgraded the RAM and storage recently, but it is still not performing up to par, especially when running demanding applications or games. It is like something is holding back the full potential of my setup. I have read a few bits here and there about using software tools like CPU-Z or benchmarking with 3DMark, but I am not sure if these will really help pinpoint the issue. some folks mentioned using Task Manager to monitor CPU, GPU, and memory usage during heavy workloads, but I find the data a bit overwhelming and not sure how to interpret it all. Plus, I have been told different things by mates and online guides, which only adds to the confusion. Should I be more concerned about the CPU or the GPU, or could there be something else like thermal throttling causing this? I am contemplating reaching out to a local expert, but I figured I would try getting some advice here first. Also, I am wondering if power supply issues might be the culprit, or maybe it is something as simple as outdated drivers. Could it be that my cooling setup is not adequate, causing the system to throttle under heat? There is so much conflicting advice out there, and I do not want to keep throwing money at parts without knowing the actual problem. Cheers for any help you can offer!
