Need advice on upgrading my PC for Windows 11

I have been thinking about upgrading my PC to meet the requirements for Windows 11, but I am a bit overwhelmed with where to start.

My current setup is a few years old, and I am not sure what parts might need replacing to make this upgrade as smooth as possible.

I have read that certain older processors and lack of TPM could be roadblocks, but I am not entirely sure how that would apply to my system specifically.

My friend told me that upgrading just the CPU and adding a TPM module might be enough, but I am not sure if that is all there is to it.
