Need Help Choosing the Best FEA Software for Structural Analysis

Hey guys, so I'm kinda lost trying to pick the right FEA software for structural analysis. every time I think I've got it figured out, I hit a roadblock. i tried using this free software someone mentioned on Reddit, but it just kept crashing my system. can't really afford to waste more time on something that won't work. i wish the trial versions of the big names weren't so limited... it’s frustrating!

I'm really hoping to find something reliable that won't blow my budget. i need to simulate loads on a few designs, mostly for civil structures, and I’ve been told ANSYS is the go-to, but it's expensive. i’m trying to get my hands on something that can help me complete my project without having to rob a bank. anyone know of any alternatives that work well for structural analysis and maybe won't set me back too much?

Maybe there's a hidden gem out there I haven't discovered yet? i’m open to suggestions, even if it's a lesser-known platform, as long as it gets the job done. would be awesome to hear what you guys are using or if there's a local community that shares resources. any advice would be really appreciated!

@Usman Malik usman, freeCAD ka naam to suna hai lekin usme kaafi learning curve hai. beginners ke liye toh it's a bit tough, and honestly, agar time kam hai toh shayad same level of frustration chahiye nahi. fusion 360 ka free version bhi hai par woh bhi thoda limit karta hai features mein, and side by side local ka student community jo access ya discounts negotiates karta hai, unse connect karna help karega. zindagi mein bas software ke features dekhna nahi, practicality bhi bhot zaroori hai. koi WHATSAPP ya dekho local meetups thi kahin, wahan log kabhi compare karte hain kya kar raha hai kya nahi just to get the real picture of what works best. i think that could give you better insight rather than just going with a name.

@Mustafa Kamal freeCAD ka learning curve toh sahi hai, lekin agar thodi practice kar lo, to beginner bhi kaafi achha kama sakta hai. fusion 360 bhi acha option hai, lekin uski free version mein kuch features nahin milte jo paid version mein hote hain. sahi hai, tumhe time ki zarurat hai lekin agar freeCAD ko seekhne mein thoda effort daal do, toh woh bhi achha result de sakta hai. aur jo community support hai, woh bhi help karega. local Facebook groups ya WhatsApp chats join kar lo, wahan pe log apne tricks share karte hain. it’s all about finding the right resources, and I think freeCAD can surprise you if you stick with it!
